Ok, here we go! These dessert drinks or Shooters like Applesauce shot are so easy to make and so hard to drink. Aren’t they?
That is probably because of the dry and sour taste, maybe? But trust me, they get better when you need something spicy, especially in the colder climates.
The Applesauce Shot seems to have been the brainchild of a bartender somewhere in Chicago who tried combinations of Cinnamon Liqueur and Apple Puckers.
What a strange combination? Yeah?
But this one turned out to be strange and yet likable, it became an instant hit!
Just be wary of the Hard Apple Cider! Below is the Applesauce Shot recipe.

Tips To Make Applesauce Shot
✅ Instead of Fireball Whiskey, you can also use Cinnamon Schnapps like Goldschlager. But I personally suggest going with Fireball, exclusively for that spiciness.
✅ Apple Schnapps or Apple Pucker both go well with Applesauce Shot. Again, it’s a matter of personal choice. If you are going with Pucker, prefer DeKuyper.
✅ Since this is a Shooter drink, make sure to add equal amounts of all the ingredients and pour into shot glasses, so as to have a uniform mix.
✅ You can avoid hard Apple Cider, if you do not have a taste for it. But if you really need something hot and zingy, go for it!
The Wellington Apple Shot, is just a shot version of Wellington Apple Cocktail. This cocktail however uses Canadian Whiskey instead of Fireball and uses Apple Schnapps.
Pineapple Juice is replaced by Cranberry Juice and as a result, you get an all RED cocktail that is also pleasing on the eye.
This Applesauce shot recipe is a brilliant, yet easy to make cocktail shot recipe that is not going to give you any headache whatsoever. If you are a lover of Apple flavor, this is definitely going to find its place in your daily night dinner or at your house party.
Warning again! Be sure if you want to add Hard Cider, only if you have a taste for it!
