John Daly Drink Recipe – Easy Steps To Make Spiked Arnold Palmer

If you know what an Arnold Palmer drink is, then you can easily identify John Daly drink with it.

It is basically the alcoholic version of Arnold Palmer.

There is a bit of back story to how this drink got its name. John Daly, the famous American Golfer was having a run at Dirty Gator Open at the Whiskey Creek Golf Course, Florida in the year 2005. The bartender at the course named a drink he mixed after John Daly at that time.

Soon after, the use of his name without his consent provoked John Daly. This is because many targeted John Daly for his history with alcohol. Also, Sometimes people refer to this drink as “Spiked Arnold Palmer”.

Nevertheless, Daly himself started a company with his friends and made a ready-to-drink version of this cocktail and started selling them.

Ok, now let’s focus on the actual recipe of the John Daly Drink.

John Daly cocktail is a great, easy to drink cocktail suitable for indoors and parties. If it’s a golf party, it’s even more suitable (just kidding – it is better everywhere)

  • 1.5 oz (45 ml) Vodka
  • 2 oz (60 ml) Lemonade
  • 2 oz (60 ml) Iced Tea (Unsweetened)
  • Lemon Wheel for Garnish
  • In a highball glass, add Vodka, Lemonade and Iced Tea along with some ice cubes.
  • Stir them gently until they mix well.
  • Serve and Enjoy the drink!

  • 1 oz (30 ml) Vodka
